more than 2 teams and one reserve team may be fielded by any Unit.
- Each
team consists of 5 members i.e 1- Inspector, 2 -Sub- Inspectors, 1- ASI
/HC and 1 - PC.
- Officer
who has served as an expert in the State Finger Print Bureau or employed
as regular Police Photographer shall not be allowed to take part in this
competition.
- The participants
must carry their own investigation Kit viz for Finger Prints Test-
Brushes, Powders, Hand Gloves, Magnifying lens etc. and for Lifting
& Packing of Exhibits- Seals, Wax, Cardboard Boxes, Paper covers,
Filter Paper, Paper cutter and other material required for packing.

- Individual
medals of Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded in each event. Apart
from individual medals the team scoring the highest number of marks in
each category will be awarded Winners trophy and Runners Trophy.
- In
Scientific Aids to Investigation event, Hard liner Trophy (III Best) and
Individual Championship Trophy will be awarded to the candidate (SI/CI)
securing highest marks in all the events.
- Best
Dog Trophy is awarded to the top-performing dog and handler team across
three challenging events: Tracking, Explosive Detection, and Narcotics
Detection. This prestigious honor recognizes excellence in the dog's
skills and the handler’s ability to effectively guide the dog in each
event.
- Overall
Team Championship Trophy will be awarded to the team which secures maximum
number of medals and trophies in all the 6 categories.

- All
Zones/ Units must complete the competitions of their respective units by
4th October 2024 and send the list of qualified participants to DG CID by
5th October 2024.
- The
names of nodal officer for each Zone/ Commissionerate/ Specialized Unit
shall be furnished to this office by 19th September 2024. The nodal
officers from each unit will attend the Duty Meet briefing session to be
held on 21st September 2024 at 1100 am at Mini Conference Hall, DGP
office, Hyderabad by DGP, CID.
- The
nodal officer should be in charge of each team and shall accompany the
team participating in the state Police Duty Meet and shall bring two
flags—one measuring 3 feet x 2 feet on an 8-foot pole, and another
measuring 6 feet x 4 feet—representing their respective Units. These flags
will be used for the opening and closing ceremonies.
- Al
the participants must attend the events in full working uniform
- Participants
will be accommodated in TGPA
- No
participant will be permitted to stay outside TGPA
- Food
will be provided at TGPA on payment basis
- All
participants for State level Duty Meet must report at TGPA reception by
13th October 2024 before 4 pm.
- The
Telangana Police teams in various events, to represent the State for All
India Police Duty Meet, will be selected basing on the performance of the
participants in the TG State Duty Meet.
